The Transparency Act
We work to ensure transparency, accountability, and respect for human rights throughout our value chain.
Code of Conduct
Torghatten's commitment to ethical, responsible, and sustainable business practices is embedded in our Code of Conduct and related policies.
Our Code of Conduct for board members and employees is aligned with international regulations and standards, such as those of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It is intended to guide us in making the right decisions and acting with integrity, in compliance with laws, regulations, and collective agreements.
Responsible Supply Chain
Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for suppliers and business partners, promoting sustainability, integrity, and human rights throughout the value chain. We expect our suppliers and partners to share our principles and act in accordance with our guidelines.
Whistleblowing
We aim to make it easy to report concerns. We encourage everyone to speak up about actual or potential breaches of the law, our Employee Code of Conduct, or our Supplier Code of Conduct.
Torghatten has established a digital whistleblowing channel operated by an independent third party. The channel is open to everyone, and anonymous reporting is possible.
Transparency Act
Torghatten is subject to the Norwegian Transparency Act, which came into effect on July 1, 2022. The Act promotes companies' respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, and requires large enterprises to conduct and account for due diligence assessments throughout their value chains.
Sustainability and responsible business conduct are anchored in our overarching policies and governance documents. Our risk-based framework for due diligence assessments is based on the OECD Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct.
Torghatten reports annually on how risks are identified and managed. As part of the Nordic Ferry Infrastructure (NFI) Group, Torghatten’s disclosure is included in the NFI Group’s Transparency Act report starting from the 2023 reporting year.
Questions
