Our digital timetables are based on timetables taken from EnTur. Entur was established and is owned by the Ministry of Transport. They collect data and timetables from all transport providers throughout Norway. Our timetables also take account of public holidays.

AutoPASS
AutoPASS is the automated system for collection of road and ferry tolls, owned and operated by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA). This solution will give a discount of 50% for private travels. Companies will have a 40% discount by advanced agreement. To receive a discount the vehicle must be registered with the payment solution AutoPASS tag and a prepaid amout must be paid.

About this route
Halhjem–Sandvikvåg is a ferry route over Bjørnafjorden. It's 22 km long, and is run by Torghatten Nord. In normal circumstances it should take about 45 minutes.

All our ferries transport dangerous goods in accordance with the regulation on dangerous goods on Norwegian ships, FOR-2014-07-01-944, stowage plan appendix 1A and 1B of the regulation (with an approved extinguishing system).
Articulated lorries transporting dangerous goods can only travel with the ferry MF Lysøy. This is because other vessels operating on the Halhjem-Sandvikvåg route have length restrictions in the designated areas onboard intended for the placement of dangerous goods during transport.
For certain transports involving dangerous goods, restrictions may apply due to vessel capacity and the number of passengers permitted on board. This applies to ADR Classes 1 (except 1.4S), 2.3 and 6.2.
Vehicles carrying dangerous goods will be assessed upon arrival at the ferry terminal. In accordance with applicable ferry regulations, some vehicles may be required to wait or take a later departure if necessary due to safety considerations, capacity constraints or traffic conditions.
